PW Starred Review
Out of print books just aren’t the sad story they used to be. Not when you have your own imprint and can simply re-release. But as I began to plan getting these titles back out into the world, I realized I didn’t want to simply put them up as-is. (Revision is a serious drug—even a starred PW review can’t keep me from wanting to revamp Feral!) Spark is the basis for my forthcoming podcast.
Group YA & MG Blogs
I’m the administrator for a couple of group blogs—one dedicated to YA lit, the other to middle grade. These blogs have been around for quite some time (more than ten years), through all the changes in social media and online communities. At each, a regular group of mostly authors but also illustrators, librarians, and educators pick a broad topic and write on it each month. We also feature book recommendations and interviews with authors as well as the occasional agent or editor.
